Finally decided to go for the shrimp sandwich and it was definitely a good choice. 160g of shrimps on a nice piece of bread (kavring), thick layer of mayonnaise, sweet cherry tomatoes and an egg. Very delicious. The staff was incredible helpful when we wanted to split a shrimp sandwich for the kids and told about allergies. We tried the tartar as well, it was good, not that much horse radish as I hoped. Go for the sandwich!Best soups in Sweden. Seriously, they have one soup for each of the four seasons, and they are all incredible. I’ve been to this restaurant 8-9 times just to have another soup — they are currently serving the mushroom one, which is my favorite!

Just perfect for what we needed on a hot summer day. Adults took the sommermeny which was just the right size to leave us stuffed but not exploding. Kids portions are half of adults and our children had plenty on their plates and enjoyed the meal. Felt like I was in French Riviera for a bit. ☀️

Wonderful Hotel in Gothenburg city centre. Great food and staff its rather small and very cosy. With lots of interesting art and design choices. #avalon
Amazing staff and drinks. Great outside area as well to sit down. We will definitely come again.

Very good location and nice terrace. Simple but very good fresh food.
Really nice place. Accurate and professional service. Great menu. The mushroom soup is an abundance of flavors. The flounder is perfectly cooked. The sorbet is awesome. Recommended.

Lovely place. A very cozy architectural style on the interior. Relaxing atmosphere, which I have trouble finding in many restaurants. Waitresses were polite and provided to the overall great service. The food was perfectly seasoned and the portion size was just right.
Frequent traveler to the area. Always try and stay here, the best cocktails in town and super awesome bartenders and team!

great location, was a nice evening and would love to come back. The food and wine were great. The service was friendly and very attentive.
I attended the bar only and loved how the bartender engaged in discussions on tastes. Obviously interested in his profession .
